Karen Laurence-Rowe

The Ugandan-born Karen Laurence-Rowe depicts her African wildlife with so much vibrancy and life in oil and watercolour. A real eye opener for me seeing what can be done with the watercolour medium given the time and the skill.

I’m Laura Corbettis, a self taught, vegan watercolourist.

Big colours, bold lines and even bigger gulls here at oddkness! The gulls started eating me alive since moving to Birchington, so I thought I’d just rip out my heart and throw it to them. I now dedicate my main art practice to herring gulls.
